What is a credit and how is it counted?

1 credit = 1 complete guided answer delivered to a user in your widget. There is no complex token math or surprise surcharges. The Starter tier gives you 2,000 answers every month.

Does this replace writing help documentation?

Yes. Instead of manually writing, screenshotting, and updating static help articles whenever your product changes, RepoAnswers indexes your real UI code and updates itself on every git commit.

What GitHub permissions does RepoAnswers need?

We request minimal read-only OAuth permissions strictly for the repositories you choose to connect. We never request write access, cannot commit code, and cannot touch unrelated repos.

Is my proprietary codebase private and safe?

Yes. We never train public or third-party AI models on your codebase. Your code is parsed strictly to build a navigation graph for your support widget. Raw code is never exposed to visitors.

Will the AI hallucinate UI steps?

No. Because answers are grounded strictly in your parsed component tree, RepoAnswers only guides users to buttons, routes, and settings that actually exist in your codebase. If something isn't built, it says so.
